What is the IRL

IRL is the UKs first Video Game Design and Esports venue offering you a mix of free and discounted services to ensure everyone has access to ‘learn, play and compete’ with video games. We do this through 'Game Design and Esports Holiday Clubs', 'Industry Talks', 'Family Gaming' and a new community gaming initiative 'Volunteer To Game'. Services will be activated across 2021-2022.

The IRL Centre is here to open up the world of video games and esports allowing you to learn, play and compete at our venue.

You might think that the video games and esports industries sometimes seem 'closed doors' but in actual fact we know these industries are open to sharing and offering advice and guidance - this is why IRL is opening its doors to you to learn from the pros.

You can join us for masterclass talks from video game developers and esports professionals, both up and coming and some of the most established.

If you want to make your own video game our expert staff can help you do this too.
